Instagram Threads is getting a highly requested feature that puts it in closer competition with X/Twitter. The text-based social networking app is experimenting with the ability to save posts, allowing users to bookmark favorite posts to revisit them later. Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced the feature in a Threads post on Wednesday, noting that the company just started the limited test. Users with the test can find the new save feature under the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of a post. We’re not sure why Threads decided to hide the feature in the “More Options” menu since Instagram has…

If you’re pregnant, you may want to think twice before making a hamburger run or reaching for a prepackaged pastry, according to research published last month in the journal Environmental International. Oddly enough it’s not the food that the report targets — not the fries, burgers or even the shakes and cakes — but what touches the food before you eat it. Research shows that phthalates, a class of chemicals associated with plastics, can shed from the wrapping, packaging and even from plastic gloves worn by food handlers into food. Once consumed during pregnancy, the chemicals can get into the…

View gallery Image Credit: Getty Images Taylor Swift, 34, proved she’s a pro when it comes to handling mishaps during her Eras Tour. In videos posted of the now viral moment, she can be seen squatting down and attempting to land on a chair she uses in the performance before slipping and catching herself just in time. Once the videos made their way around social media, many of Taylor’s fans praised…
Last week’s Vision Pro release shed some fascinating light on Apple’s generally top secret development process. A Vanity Fair interview with Tim Cook detailed — in part — what a long and heavy lift it took to get the company’s first headset off the ground. The Apple CEO gave an early iteration of the device the less than flattering nickname, “the monster.” Rumored foldable versions of the iPhone have also reportedly had their share of setbacks. Issues around durability and the ever-present crease are said to have caused the company to put the foldable iPhone’s development on ice, as the…

The spaceplane and its cargo module are undergoing testing at the facility to prepare for the extreme environment of space. “The Armstrong Test Facility is one of NASA Glenn Research Center’s most critical assets,” said Dr. Jimmy Kenyon, center director of NASA Glenn in Cleveland, during a media event where…
