Officers were in the shopping centre on Wednesday, January 24, when they were notified of a reported theft from the Apple store. Working alongside the centre’s security team, a suspect was found and arrested. The laptop was also recovered. Benedict Ashi-Buogwu, of Cavendish Road, Rochester, was later charged with theft.
