Police, coastguard and ambulance crews attended Brighton seafront near the i360 yesterday afternoon at around 2.20pm. Crews searched the area between the Palace Pier and West Pier after a call came in that someone needed help. The person was found safely and passed on to ambulance crews. India’s central bank said Thursday it takes supervisory actions and imposes business restrictions only after “persistent non-compliance” with rules, its first comment after a clampdown on Paytm last week has posed existential questions about the future of the leading financial services firm.
