Police responded to reports of two dogs, believed to be XL bullies, fighting near Links Avenue, Peacehaven, today at 10.45am. One XL bully, along with a border collie cross, was on the loose from a nearby vehicle, when it attacked another XL bully being walked on a lead by its owner. The North Lanarkshire health board confirmed to The Times that between April 2023 and August 2024, 12 patients were treated at the area’s emergency departments due to weight-loss injections.  It adds to four patients at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde who were admitted over the same time span.
