The incident occurred on Bridge Street in the town shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 16. According to police, they were called to respond to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the child was quickly transported to the hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At approximately 5:35 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, we received a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Bridge Street, Paisley.
