Police responded to an incident at a location on Broomfield Road in Barmulloch, Glasgow, on Saturday afternoon following reports of a disturbance and an alleged assault. A 29-year-old man was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained. A 55-year-old pedestrian was assaulted while walking on Causeyside Street near Forbes Place in Paisley around 5:10 pm on Saturday. The victim was confronted by two men who began shouting at him and then followed him onto Marshalls Lane where the assault took place. Emergency services rushed the victim to the hospital, and he is currently in a serious condition. Police are appealing to witnesses who may have seen the incident, considering the area’s likely busyness at that time.
