The Chichester District Council, acting for the South Downs National Park Authority, has approved the application for rebuilding a temple dedicated to a Roman goddess. The original temple, located in the High Woods area of the Goodwood Estate near Chichester, was dismantled during the early 20th century. The incident happened in Chatterton Road near Walpole Road at around 4.15pm yesterday (May 29). A man in his 40s was reportedly chased by a group of men from a pub before a chemical substance was sprayed in his eyes.
