Brighton and Hove Green Party has selected Ollie Sykes as their candidate for the Brunswick and Adelaide by-election on July 4, coinciding with the General Election. Sykes previously held this seat from 2011 to 2019 and served as the Green Party’s finance lead until May 2019. He also ran for Hove in the last general election, finishing fourth. Andrew Tham, 28, sadly lost his life following a collision involving a Kawasaki motorcycle and a Hyundai Tucson car on Thursday, May 30.  The incident occurred around 6.50pm on the B8039, near to Lenziemill Road.
