Officers were called to reports of two teenagers seen with knives in Downham Way near Launcelot Primary School at around 3.50pm on April 17. A 16-year-old boy was later found with stab wounds on the same road. He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening. In the early hours of Wednesday, April 17, 2024, a burglary was reported in Hall Road where electrical items were stolen along with children’s passports. Shortly after this a house in nearby Joyce Green Lane was broken into where a car was stolen along with a laptop and cash. Officers attended and a man was arrested at around 11am.
