Concerns for the welfare of a person were raised at Queen Elizabeth II Bridge at 12.25pm yesterday (May 22). All traffic was held as the incident was dealt with which caused long delays and three miles of congestion. Officers were called to the scene and brought the person to safety. The bridge reopened at around 2.30pm and all traffic restrictions have since returned to normal.
