On Saturday morning, residents of Rottingdean discovered that their war memorial, which honors soldiers from the World Wars, had been defaced with bright red graffiti. Dave Bull QAM, chairman of the Rottingdean Royal British Legion, condemned the vandals for the damage and the financial burden of cleaning the memorial, which will be covered by the charity.
