Police were called to the south side of the Dartford Crossing today (June 1) at around 1:40pm to reports of welfare concerns for someone on the Dartford Crossing. National Highways advised drivers that lane one of four of the A282 south of the QE11 Bridge was closed due the incident. The person was brought to safety by police with aid from members of the public. Essex Police confirmed that they are currently under the care of medical professionals.
