The unnamed detective told a friend she had better not get drunk at the event, saying: “because of all those men in shorts”.
A Sussex Police disciplinary panel heard the detective kissed a boxer and a female colleague and offered to perform a sex act on the man while he was driving following the daytime bout.

The off-duty officer also offered to perform a sex act on a female colleague after they watched the fight in April 2023.
The hearing was told the detective ignored warnings about maintaining boundaries.
Robert Talalay, prosecuting, told the panel the detective, identified only as Officer X, knew how she behaved after drinking.
“She acted in full knowledge of the kind of person she turned into after a drink,” he said.
“In a statement, her friend said she told her she had better not get drunk because of ‘all those men in shorts’.”
The panel heard the detective kissed her male colleague on the lips after he lost his fight before offering his friend oral sex.
Mr Talalay told the panel they should consider this kiss in the same way a Spanish court is investigating the former head of their football association who embraced a female player after she won the World Cup.
Officer X went on to kiss a female colleague before making a lewd comment.
Other officers and members of the public present at the boxing event were shocked and made to feel uncomfortable, the panel heard.
In a statement to the hearing, Officer X said she had very little memory of the incident and blamed a combination of alcohol and prescribed medications.
“I’m truly sorry for my actions that day,” she said.
“I was at an off duty social event.
“I’m ashamed of my behaviour and apologise to anybody who was offended.
“There was no sexual intent whatsoever.
“I probably thought I was funny.
“I never meant to cause any upset or offence.”
The panel retired to consider their decision.
