A man was knocked unconscious and sustained a number of facial fractures during a “serious assault” in Belfast city centre.
It was reported that the man, aged in his early 20s, was outside licenced premises in the Dunbar Street area on Sunday, June 14, at around 3.15am. He was assaulted by two men, also believed to be aged in their twenties.
Issuing an appeal for information on June 23, police said enquiries are ongoing, and they are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen the two suspects to come forward.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed this assault, or may have seen the suspects – one of whom was dressed all in black, while the second was wearing an orange coloured top and light coloured trousers.
