The Worthing Town Summer Clean, initially planned for tomorrow, is now set for Tuesday, July 14 at 9:00am.

The meeting point will still be Montague Gardens.

This event is coordinated by the Worthing Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) in conjunction with Worthing Borough Council.

It invites businesses, residents and community members to participate.

The stated objectives are to improve the town centre’s appearance, cultivate civic pride and underscore the impact of community cooperation.

The Worthing summer clean-up tasks will include volunteers picking up litter in several sections of the town centre.

This activity promises an improved, welcoming setting for locals, tourists and neighbourhood businesses.

The council will supply all the necessary tools for volunteers and ensure the proper removal of all rubbish and recycling collected during the clean-up.

An organiser of the event extended apologies for any disturbance this postponement may cause, voiced gratitude to those already participating and showed eagerness to see everyone on the rearranged date.
