A second man has been arrested following a suspected stabbing in a town centre.
Officers were called to a report of assault at a property in Margate High Street at 12.20pm yesterday (June 16).
Emergency services, alongside firearms officers, attended the scene.
A man was taken to a local hospital by paramedics for injuries consistent with stab wounds.
It is understood his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing, and he remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that one suspect had been arrested and that officers were to remain in the area to carry out enquiries.
This morning, a police spokesperson confirmed that another man has also been arrested.
They said: “Two local men, aged 40 and 31, have now been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.”
