On Sunday, May 31, a car was stopped after the driver — who held only a provisional licence — was found to have no supervision, no L plates and no insurance policy.

The driver was charged and reported, with police seizing the vehicle.

A spokesperson said: “Another driver that didn’t think it would happen to them and went against our #DontRiskIt advice has found out the hard way.

“GlasgowRP spotted this car earlier today and the driver is now walking home.”

The following day, Monday, June 1, a driver in Shettleston was stopped and allegedly found to be driving while disqualified and without insurance.

They were also charged in connection with the incident.
