The nurseries, registered for more than 140 children combined, have been acquired by existing operators Tots R Us Nurseries.
They already run two other sites in West Dunbartonshire.

“While maintaining the warm and nurturing atmosphere already in place, our aim is to provide even greater opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
“We look forward to working closely with the children, parents, and the fantastic teams at both nurseries, and are excited to get started.”

Both nurseries have a track record of good and very good grades from the Care Inspectorate.
They were sold as part of the previous owner’s decision to re-focus her portfolio.
The nurseries were previously acquired in 2018 through Christie & Co.
The latest transaction followed a confidential sales process with Callum Lancaster from Christie & Co, with funding sourced through Stephen McConalogue from Christie Finance.
Mr Lancaster, senior business agent for childcare and education at Christie & Co, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have supported Angela in the successful sale of Carousel Nurseries, having originally acquired both settings through Christie & Co in 2018.
“It’s great to see the nurseries acquired by Isabel and Piotr at Tots R Us Nursery Ltd, who already operate locally in Dumbarton and Clydebank.
“I met with them in Glasgow prior to the nurseries coming to market, and they were very keen on Carousel should the opportunity arise.
“With Isabel’s wealth of experience in the childcare sector, I’ve no doubt the nurseries will continue to perform well and grow under their ownership.”

Mr McConalogue, associate director at Christie Finance, said: “I’m pleased to have supported my clients with the funding package for another transaction within the children’s day nursery sector.
“The nursery sector continues to have its challenges; however, the market for new entrants or indeed experienced operators is strong, with funding readily available for the right applicant.”
The sale price of the two nursery sites has not been disclosed.
