The show will run at the Orchard Theatre during the venue’s reopening season after major refurbishment.
The story follows Cinderella as she escapes the clutches of her wicked stepsisters with the help of her Fairy Godmother and gets the chance to attend the royal ball—until the clock strikes midnight and her magical evening is cut short.
The comedian is known for his high-energy performances and long-standing career in panto.
His television career began as runner-up on New Faces in 1987, and he later became the King of the Jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004.

Pasquale last performed in pantomime in Dartford in 2016. He said: “I’m so excited to be coming back to Dartford in panto this year, especially as it will be in the newly refurbished Orchard Theatre.
“It is one of my favourite venues in the country; it feels like I’m coming home.”
Pasquale has also hosted An Audience With Joe Pasquale and The Price Is Right and appeared in Dancing on Ice and five Royal Variety Performances.

“Joe’s incredible humour and wealth of pantomime experience make him the perfect addition; we can’t wait to see the magic he brings to the stage. A much-loved favourite with Orchard Theatre audiences over the years, it feels especially fitting to have Joe back with us for this very special reopening.”
Produced by Imagine Theatre, Cinderella promises all the classic elements of a family pantomime, including comedy, songs, audience interaction and festive magic. The show will also feature a full supporting cast, elaborate scenery, dazzling costumes and special effects.
Audience members can look forward to a heart-warming tale, plenty of laughter, and a little bit of seasonal sparkle. Further casting announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
The new pantomime season will mark a fresh start for the venue and bring a classic festive tradition to the newly upgraded stage.
