Officers were called to Wyndford Road in Glasgow at around 12.55pm on Saturday, April 4, following reports of a man found unresponsive.
Emergency services attended and a 78-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His relatives have been informed.
Police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.55pm on Saturday, 4 April, 2026 police were called to a man found unresponsive on Wyndford Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a 78-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His relatives are aware.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances however the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
