Lina Moynha stands today as a business owner and Airbnb entrepreneur, but her journey to success was not a straightforward one. Moynha grew up in a low-income household, where money was never guaranteed, and hardship was a familiar part of life. Amid an absence of access and exposure, the path she took was a barely visible horizon; nevertheless, she has pushed herself toward a better future.
“From a young age,” Moynha said, “I promised my mum that one day I would retire her and change our circumstances.”
From Corporate Career to Entrepreneurship
This inspiration pushed Moynha to pursue a bachelor’s degree, though largely at her parents’ behest. Still, she came to genuinely believe that it would help her to land a good job that would become her path toward financial security. Moynha graduated with this assumption and a business degree in 2018, and began a corporate career.
Once she entered the corporate world, however, Moynha found that it wasn’t what she expected. She experienced misogyny and micro-aggressions, and found that this path wasn’t the right one for her. Around this time, she started to take an interest in property management.
“Initially, I began by managing property for family friends and doing deal sourcing,” Moynha said, “so I could build capital and learn the industry from the ground up.”

Finding Success With Airbnb
Equipped with this foundational experience in the property space, Moynha discovered the rent-to-rent Airbnb model, and she went all-in. Though she started with just £3,000, she built a successful Airbnb and serviced accommodation enterprise within just 12 months. Since achieving this level of success, Moynha has gone on to focus on expansion, diversification, and long-term growth in business.
“My life looks very different from where I started,” Moynha shared. “I’ve bought my mum a five-bedroom house, I travel first-class, drive my dream Porsche, and I’ve been featured in national press; but more importantly, I’ve been able to change my family’s situation and create opportunities that simply didn’t exist for us growing up.
Ambition, Expansion, and Presence
Although she has helped her family to achieve their dreams and fulfilled many of her own, Moynha remains ambitious. Since finding success with her rent-to-rent Airbnb model, she has begun exploring opportunities for branching out to property ownership in Dubai. Additionally, Moynha has built a remote sales business to help women earn online and separate themselves from male-dominated environments.
Online, Moynha has shared her story with countless viewers. On TikTok alone, her videos had reached over 20 million views. Through platforms such as these, she aims to open doors for others toward entrepreneurship; following her example, audiences may find a different path forward to financial freedom.

What’s Next for Moynha
Looking to the future, Moynha has big plans for her businesses. Currently, she is transitioning from a purely rent-to-rent model into purchasing property outright, all while exploring international properties. Long-term, she hopes to build a global property portfolio and scale her existing enterprises. Ultimately, Moynha’s goal is not to build wealth solely for herself, but to have a lasting impact.
