Seven fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were scrambled to Teville Road in Worthing on the night of March 12.
Flames engulfed the entire building, quickly turning the roof into tinder as the fire spread through the structure.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 9.37pm on Thursday, March 12, to reports of a fire involving a property on Teville Road in Worthing.
“Joint Fire Control mobilised seven fire engines and an aerial ladder platform to the scene.”

Sussex Police closed off the road to allow firefighters to work safely, while members of the public were urged to stay away.
Teams wearing breathing apparatus entered the burning property to extinguish the blaze as the operation continued late into the night.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police supported the fire service at a fire in a property in Teville Road, Worthing, from around 9.45pm on Thursday evening, March 12.
“No injuries have been reported and enquiries are ongoing alongside the fire service to identify the cause of the fire.”
Crews remained at the site into the early hours of the morning, damping down the building to ensure there were no further hot spots.

One fire engine returned to the scene at 7.30am the following morning to carry out a final reinspection of the property.
Firefighters confirmed that no further signs of fire were found during the morning check, and the scene was left in the hands of investigators.
A joint inquiry between the fire service and Sussex Police has now been launched to determine the cause of the incident.
In a late-night update from the early hours on Friday, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was scaling back its response but would remain on scene for some time and that Teville Road remained closed.
Teville Road in Worthing remained closed the next morning following the fire.
