Downham Way was cordoned off late last night (February 28) at around 11pm following the incident.
It is understood that a child had been hit by a car.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson has said that the force will not be sharing further details about the age of the child involved.
However, the spokesperson said: “Injuries are not life-threatening or life changing and no arrests made.”
Officers cordoned off a stretch of the road as recovery work took place.
