The real ale event will be hosted from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 15th March inclusive, and will offer up to 30 different ales across three participating venues.

The Bright Helm in West Street, The Post & Telegraph in North Street, and The West Quay in Brighton Marina Village will all be participating.

Matthew Scott, manager of The Post & Telegraph, said: “The festival is a great celebration of real ale.

“It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb beers, featuring many not previously available to our customers in the pub, including those from brewers as far afield as Mexico and Brazil as well as those closer to home, over a 12-day period.

“All of the beers will be available at great value-for-money prices.”

Beers will be priced between £3.05 and £3.39 per pint.

Brewed exclusively for the festival, almost all of the ales are being served for the first time.

Of the 30 ales on offer, five have been crafted by international brewers from Brazil, Italy, Mexico, Spain and the United States.

It is the first time the Wetherspoon pubs have served a real ale from Mexico.

The international selection includes Tropical from Cervejaria Bodebrown in Brazil, Read the Room from Good Word Brewing in the United States, Session IPA from Malteza in Mexico, Vicious IPA from Almogaver in Spain, and Nigredo from Birrificio Italiano in Italy.

Several beers include unique ingredients such as coffee, elderflower, hibiscus, maple syrup, orange and vanilla.

Three of the ales are vegan and suitable for vegetarians.

For those keen to sample a variety of flavours, Wetherspoon is offering customers the option of three one-third-of-a-pint tasters for the price of a single pint.

Tasting notes for all beers will be available in a printed festival magazine at each venue.

There is also a digital version accessible via the Wetherspoon app and website.

Ales can be ordered at the bar or through the Wetherspoon app.
