Two busy routes were hit with delays due to a tractor fire and a load spillage.
The vehicle blaze on the A2 London-bound near Singlewell, Gravesend was reported just after midday.

Three fire engines, a bulk water carrier and the technical rescue unit were in attendance just past the Cobham services before the Henshurst Road junction.
Lanes three of four remained closed approaching Gravesend East/Henshurst Road junction, but have since reopened.
It was due to a tractor pulling a trailer of hay which had caught fire.
Fire crews used hose reel jets and compressed air foam to tackle the flames. They worked at the scene with support from Kent Police and the Highways Agency.
No injuries were reported, but the fire service said one person had been checked over by paramedics as a precaution.
An earlier statement from Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “The carriageway has been closed while firefighters work at the scene, and people are advised to check for traffic updates before travelling towards the affected area.”

Meanwhile, the London bound exit slip on the M2 at Junction 2 for Strood is closed due to a vehicle shedding its load.
One lane on the London bound carriageway is also closed due to the “load spillage”.
Emergency services are also in attendance at that incident.
