Gillingham striker Marcus Wyllie will spend the rest of the season out on loan.
The 26-year-old hasn’t played a league game for the Gills in four months and has now joined National South side Ebbsfleet United.

Wyllie has had a frustrating time at Gillingham since joining them ahead of the 2024/25 season.
In that time, the striker has made 19 league appearances for the Gills and scored just once in the EFL, netting earlier this season in a 4-1 home win over Chesterfield.
The Gills paid non-league side Enfield Town an undisclosed fee for the striker – a first opportunity for the player to become a full-time footballer, quitting his teaching job after his move to Priestfield.
Wyllie had netted 34 goals in 49 games during a prolific 2023/24 season to help Enfield win promotion from the Isthmian Premier Division.
In his first season with the Gills, Wyllie’s only goal came in an EFL Trophy match and he was loaned out to Dagenham & Redbridge, where he played 10 league games without scoring.
His goal against Chesterfield in August was followed by another in the EFL Trophy against Fulham under-21s but he’s found games and goals hard to come by.
He hasn’t played for the Gills since appearing against Wycombe Wanderers in a Trophy match on November 11.
Wyllie will be hoping for more action at Ebbsfleet whose leading scorer is another former Gills player, Dominic Samuel, who has 17 goals to his name this season.
He could make his Fleet debut tomorrow (Tuesday) night in their game away against Horsham.
