Home Instead Eastbourne and Hailsham received top marks after a visit from the Care Quality Commission.
The health watchdog handed the Polegate-based agency an overall rating of Outstanding.
Inspectors said the team matches carers to clients with shared interests, helping real friendships grow.

One client told the watchdog: “I really value the contact with them.
“They take the time to natter to me which makes my day.”
The assessment, carried out between September 18 and October 17, 2025, found staff focused on keeping vulnerable adults safe at home.
Relatives said the care was a lifeline, especially for people with dementia.
Families said steady, familiar care eased anxiety and distress for their loved ones.
One relative said: “Without their care, my relative would not be able to live at home.
“Staff do more than they need to do. They bring little bits in for them, because they’re always thinking of them.”
The report said staff were backed to spot risks early in a “strong, proactive” culture.

Reviewers said the agency, run by Silverlight Care Limited, worked to tackle loneliness and isolation.
Inspectors praised staff for finding new ways to help clients get out and about.
A client said: “Staff are always reassuring. They always make me laugh which brightens up my day.
“Sometimes when I feel low, they take me out which lifts my spirits.”
The service supported 24 people at the time of the inspection.
It was rated outstanding for safety, care, responsiveness and leadership. Effectiveness was rated good.
Inspectors said staff showed “exceptional values” by putting people first and speaking up for them.
In January 2026, Home Instead Eastbourne and Hailsham was named a five-star Employer by WorkBuzz following confidential feedback from care professionals.
The company said survey results showed 97 per cent of care professionals were proud to work for it, while 100 per cent felt fully supported during their induction and training.
