Bluewater has announced that global fashion brand Stradivarius will open its first Kent store on Thursday, February 26.
The new store will be located on Lower Thames Walk, next to Marks & Spencer, in an 8,488 sq ft unit.
Originally a family-owned business, the Spanish womenswear brand joined retail giant Inditex in 1999.
Known for its trend-led collections, Stradivarius offers clothing, footwear, and accessories designed to inspire young people to express their individuality and embrace the latest fashion trends.
James Waugh, centre director at Bluewater, said: “Stradivarius has been our most requested brand for some time now, and our original announcement sharing that they’d be joining our retail line-up was met with huge excitement.
“We’re delighted to be able to give fans of the brand a concrete opening date, so that they can start planning their shopping trips.
“This marks the first time our guests will be able to shop their collections in the region, and we can’t wait to welcome them through the doors when the store opens next week.”
The opening date will allow shoppers to plan their visits around the debut of the brand in Kent.
Bluewater is Europe’s leading retail and leisure destination, featuring more than 280 shops, restaurants, and attractions.
It offers free parking with extra-wide spaces and a range of entertainment options, including a 17-screen Showcase Cinema de Lux with IMAX, Gravity Trampoline Park, and Dinotropolis Giant Soft Play.
Hangloose Adventure also offers the UK’s only outdoor skydive machine and Europe’s largest swing.
The centre recently welcomed another new addition to its retail line-up, luxury menswear brand Rodd & Gunn, which opened its doors on February 7.
