One-year-old Staffie, Dixie, and two-year-old Chihuahua, Darby, are currently being cared for at Dogs Trust Glasgow after arriving as strays.
Despite their uncertain pasts, their strong bond is clear, and the rehoming team hopes they will find a home together.

The dogs love to walk, play, and nap side-by-side and are looking for a new owner with enough space in their heart and home for two.
Sandra Downie, manager at Dogs Trust Glasgow, said: “Dixie and Darby are the best of friends who gain confidence and companionship from one another, so we are keen for them to find their forever home as a pair.
“Dixie is a very friendly and sweet-natured young girl who is keen to learn.
“Darby also has a sweet, loving nature, although he can be a little unsure in new situations.
“Having Dixie by his side is a huge comfort to him.
“They are both complete foodies, so food is certainly the way to their hearts.
“We are all completely smitten by them, so we hope it won’t be long before they find their Valentine, who falls head over heels for the dynamic duo.”
The Dogs Trust team has become fond of the pair and hopes they will soon find the right match.
Dixie and Darby could live with other dogs and are suitable for a home with children of secondary school age.
They would enjoy access to a secure garden where they can play and potter together.
