Sussex Police said on Thursday, February 12, at around 5.30pm, a 13-year-old boy was crossing London Road, Hurst Green, near to the junction of Station Road, when it was reported that he was hit by a dark coloured vehicle travelling north.
The vehicle failed to stop at the scene and the boy sustained a serious leg injury, police said. He is still in hospital.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Were you driving in the area at the time and saw what happened, or do you have any dash cam footage that could have captured the incident or the car involved?
