The issue is affecting services at Kilwinning station, with trains subject to delays, alterations and cancellations as a result of the fault.

ScotRail has confirmed that ticket acceptance is in place with Stagecoach West buses on all services in the Kilwinning area in both directions. Passengers can travel on bus services 11, 585, 25 and X77 for the full route. Replacement buses have also been sourced to assist passengers.
ScotRail said on X: “We are dealing with a signalling fault at Kilwinning. Services are subject to delay, alteration and cancellation.
“To keep you moving, we have ticket acceptance in place with Stagecoach West buses on all services in the Kilwinning area in both directions for the full route on bus numbers 11, 585, 25 and X77.”
The rail operator added that the following replacement services have been confirmed: one Westway bus at Kilwinning at 7.20pm, one Arays bus at Kilwinning at 8.30pm, one Kevin’s coach at Glasgow Central at 7.35pm, and one Arays bus at Glasgow Central at 7.45pm.
