The Green Door Store in Trafalgar Arches, Brighton, has listed what it describes as “an iconic piece of rock ‘n’ roll history” on eBay.
The 15-year-old urinal has reportedly been used by stars such as Matty Healy, lead singer of The 1975, and Sam Fender, known for hits such as Seventeen Going Under.
The venue said although staff will “miss scrubbing down the old guy”, it was “time to send him to a new home”.
The eBay listing reads: “Here’s your chance to win a truly spectacular and unique item, something of true Brighton folklore and legend: the Green Door Store urinal.
“Wow. Where to begin when talking about an artefact of such esteem?
“With every surface tagged and drawn on like it’s late 70s CBGBS, and with a rather memorable aroma that lingers like the last one left at the afters, our bogs are nothing short of iconic.
“And the urinal itself, well, who hasn’t p****d in it? It’s with (some) confidence we can boast notable urinators such as Matty Healy, Mac Demarco, Sam Fender and potentially, even the guy that plays Gavin from Gavin and Stacey.
“It’s with a heavy heart we thank this noble soldier for it’s service, but it’s time to say goodbye.
“This is your once in a lifetime chance to own something truly one of a kind and the true epitome of rock ‘n’ roll.”
At the time of writing, the listing has 36 bids, with the price currently sitting at £184.32.
The auction is due to end on Thursday, February 12.
