Young is said to have announced the news in a statement posted to his website, the Neil Young Archives, Rolling Stone reports.

The statement reads: “I have decided to take a break and will not be touring Europe this time. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets.
“I’m sorry to let you down, but this is not the time. I do love playing live and being with you and the Chrome Hearts.
“Love Neil, be well.”

The show would have formed the next leg of the UK and Europe Love Earth World Tour.
Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts were meant to have been supported by Elvis Costello and The Imposters with Charlie Sexton.
