Elderpark Housing hosted the free event to mark the end of its 50th anniversary, drawing crowds to New Edmiston House in Ibrox for an evening of entertainment.

Organised in partnership with CX-Feedback – a UK-wide tenant engagement platform, the day saw residents treated to a wide range of entertainment, including virtual reality headsets, face painting, balloon modelling, fairground games, a magician, and musical performances.

There was also a friendly football tournament, with the winner taking home a PlayStation 5.

Guests also enjoyed raffle prizes, free food, and soft drinks.

Gary Dalziel, chief executive of Elderpark Housing, said: “This was possibly the largest community celebration in our 50-year history, and huge thanks go to our partners CX-Feedback for their significant financial and time contribution to deliver this.

“There are also many other partners who supported this event either financially or by attending on the evening, and we appreciate their contribution.

“Our 50th anniversary year has been about celebrating the history, people, purpose and the role the Association has played within the local community, and this large event for our residents was the perfect way to round off our anniversary.”

“We each get immense satisfaction just from being able to help put a smile on the face of a resident and giving them an experience to remember.

“For us, it’s not about contributing financially – it’s about sharing experiences with and learning from the people we do what we do for.

“A huge thanks to Elderpark for working with us to create such a well-attended and joyful event.”
