The opening of a luxury beauty and wellness store is edging closer.
Rituals has given an update on when it is set to open its new store in Fremlin Walk, Maidstone.

Earlier this month, KentOnline reported how the cosmetics and home brand was set to open in the former Suits Direct, between Boots and Home Store.
It comes after the menswear retailer unexpectedly shut at the end of last year.
The unit was left with a sign in the window saying: “This shop is no longer open.
“Thank you to all customers who supported us over the years. Your nearest stores are now Bluewater and Ashford Outlet.”

Shortly after, Rituals submitted a planning application for a new shopfront and signage.
Now, it has confirmed the branch will open this March.
A spokesperson for the retailer said: “The new boutique will offer an immersive experience into Rituals’ signature range of luxurious bath, body, and home products, designed to inspire moments of mindfulness and self-care in everyday life.
“This opening also marks another key step in Rituals’ UK expansion strategy, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to bringing luxury wellbeing to high footfall destinations.”
Rituals has four other branches across the county at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs, Ashford Designer Outlet, Bluewater Shopping Centre in Greenhithe and in Calverley Road in Tunbridge Wells, which opened in June last year.

The new addition to Fremlin Walk follows the opening of Holland and Barrett in the former Quiz last week.
It is the healthfood specialist’s second branch in the town, with its other in The Mall.
The Works will also be relocating from Week Street to Fremlin Walk in March.
It will be taking over the old Paperchase, which closed in 2023 after the stationery retailer entered administration.
