At a recent meeting, the board allowed several changes to the rules governing the operation of the Peppermint Lounge in Kilsyth Road.
It can now allow outdoor drinking during licensed hours, although this does not mean an increase in the total number of customers it can accommodate, and other changes allow for the playing of recorded music outwith opening hours, which was requested primarily on behalf of cleaning staff.
Other updates apply to the rules for children and young people, meaning they can now be present on the premises until 10pm from Sunday to Thursday when supervised by an adult when previously this was limited to 9.30pm.
