This summer, Neilson will be opening Beach Clubs in the Italian island of Sicily and Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.

A spokesman for the company said: “These new additions combine five-star comfort with Neilson’s curated blend of activities, expert tuition, exceptional service and relaxed vibe to create a unique good energy activity holiday.”

Opening in May 2026, this five-star resort “sits on Sicily’s stunning southwest coast, where every elegant, sea-facing room opens onto panoramic views of the Mediterranean”, Neilson said.

“Set among olive groves and palms within the lush Sciaccamare Park, the resort blends Italian luxury with the uplifting energy of a Neilson holiday.

“Guests can spend the morning paddleboarding on glassy waters, head inland by road bike, or try something new – from efoiling to sea scooter snorkelling.

“It’s also the only Neilson resort offering tennis, padel and pickleball, at the top-class racquet sports centre.

“For those seeking a more relaxed vibe, there’s yoga on the panoramic deck, a serene thermal spa, or a shaded lounger under the Sicilian sun. Evenings are for sunset cocktails and indulgent dining at one of four elegant restaurants.”

Opening in June 2026, this all-suite tropical hideaway can be found between a winding river and the Indian Ocean, “offering barefoot luxury, warm island charm and year-round sunshine”, the company spokesman said.

“Here, time slows down and every day begins with a swim in the lagoon, paddleboard yoga under the palms, or a snorkel safari on a sea scooter.

“Guests can explore by e-bike, stretch out in peaceful pools, or join a sunset sound bath before dining across eight restaurants – including a floating, adults-only dining experience.

“There are six bars and a spa inspired by the rhythms of island life.

“The resort is brilliantly set up for families too, with inclusive kids’ clubs from four months to 13 years, run by Neilson’s expert childcare teams.

“It’s warm, welcoming, and filled with opportunities to connect, explore, or simply soak up the sun.”

David Taylor, Neilson CEO, said: “We’ve seen exceptional demand for our award-winning Beach Club holidays and have been searching far and wide to find the right resorts to grow our collection.

“We’ve been looking to add a long-haul destination for some time now and to add new destinations in Europe to complement our existing clubs in Greece, Sardinia and Croatia so that our customers have more choice.

“Sicily and Mauritius will be great new destinations for our customers where we combine a beautiful setting and outstanding five-star hospitality with our award-winning activity programme. We can’t wait to welcome our guests there.”
