Chris “Kammy” Kamara, known for his hilarious highlights on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday, stopped by Mister Singh’s India in the West End.
Chris, who played for clubs across England, before a brief spell in managing Bradford and Stoke, posed for a picture with beaming staff in the curry house.

Posting the picture, the restaurant said: “What a pleasure it was to have the one and only Chris Kamara in!
“Oleg and Jordan couldn’t resist a quick pic… now lads, back to the graft.”
The post also included the hashtag “legend in the building.”
People flocked to the comments to heap praise on the legend. One said: “What a legend, and a gentleman, had the pleasure of meeting him at Upton Park in the press lounge, such a nice guy.”
Another added: “Big Kammy.”
While a third joked with one of his well-known catchphrases: “Unbelievable!”
Across more than 600 senior appearances, Kammy turned out for clubs including Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Brentford, Stoke City, Leeds United, Luton Town, Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and Bradford City, scoring over 70 goals in all competitions.
He moved into management at Bradford City in 1995, leading them from relegation trouble to promotion via the play-offs in 1996, before a brief spell in charge of Stoke City in 1998.
After leaving management, Kammy became a mainstay of Sky Sports, working for around 24 years as a reporter and analyst on programmes such as Soccer Saturday and Goals on Sunday.
His enthusiastic delivery, catchphrases, and on‑air mishaps helped turn him into a cult figure in broadcasting beyond traditional football audiences.

In 2022, he revealed he was living with apraxia of speech, a neurological condition that affected his voice and contributed to his departure from live Sky Sports work.
He has since continued to appear on television and has spoken publicly about his ongoing recovery.
