Police have cordoned off a busy route this evening.
Woodlands Road in Gillingham has been shut in both directions.
At least two police vehicles and several officers are in attendance along the stretch, where what appears to be a forensics tent has been set up.
The road, which is home to The Academy of Woodlands school, a park and a youth centre, runs parallel to Ito and Yokosuka Way.
Emergency services have been contacted for more information.
