Paige Lindsay, who passed away on Hogmanay at the age of 30, will be honoured with the ceremony in the Temple area of the city this weekend.
The gathering, organised by friends and family, will take place at 2pm on Saturday, January 10 at Shafton Pitches, a place close to Paige’s heart and filled with childhood memories.
The Single Box Bar posted a statement which read: “We will be holding a bubbles and balloon ceremony at Shafton Pitches where Paige grew up and had many memories there.
“Please bring bubbles for the kiddies.
“We would really like for everyone to join us at 2pm to release balloons for our Angel in the Sky.”
Since her passing, social media has been filled with heartfelt tributes describing Paige as the “life and soul of the party” who “lit up the room every time you walked in.”
One tribute read: “Rest in peace, Paige.
“You were such a funny, bubbly person with such a big heart.”
Another wrote: “Paige, there are no words to describe how incredibly missed you will be by so many.
“You were the life and soul of the party, you lit up the room every time you walked in and had so much love and kindness to share with everyone around you.”
A third tribute from a family member said: “My beautiful wee cousin.
“I will miss you forever and love you till the end of time.”
In the wake of her sudden death, Paige’s family launched a fundraiser to help cover funeral costs.
The GoFundMe page, created to ease the financial burden on her loved ones, has raised more than £10,000—far surpassing the initial £2,000 target.

A statement from the family on the fundraiser page said: “On December 31 2025, we sadly and suddenly lost our beautiful cousin Paige at the young age of 30.
“Anyone who has the privilege of meeting her knows how special this girl was.
“As a family, we are raising funeral funds to try and take some of the pressure off of her grieving parents and siblings at this unimaginable time.
“We would be eternally grateful for any donations—big or small, to give our Paige the best send off that she truly deserves.”
Organisers of the tribute are asking attendees to bring bubbles for children.
Balloons will also be released during the ceremony.
