Police released images of people who may be able to assist
Police are investigating an alleged theft in Sittingbourne after a man reported having money stolen while he was distracted.
Officers were called to the incident in the High Street at around 3.10pm on December 11.
A man stated he had just withdrawn some cash from a nearby bank and was approached by people as he entered a shop.
The victim was told he had something on his coat and while he was distracted it is alleged his money was stolen.
The suspects are reported to have been lingering at the bank and targeted the man after he made his withdrawal.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Investigators have been completing enquiries and are now able to release images of two people who may be able to assist in their enquiries.
“Anyone who recognises either of them is urged to call Kent Police on 01795 419119, quoting reference 46/212504/25.”
