Gillingham’s scheduled trip to Notts County on Sunday has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
County announced on Friday that the League 2 match was under threat, and the pitch was deemed unplayable when an early inspection took place at Meadow Lane on Saturday morning.

The game was due to take place at 3pm on Sunday but will now be re-arranged for later in the campaign.
A statement from Notts County said: “Sunday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Gillingham has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
“With freezing temperatures last night and forecast again for tonight, frost sheets were applied to the pitch immediately after our New Year’s Day match against Accrington Stanley and an EFL-appointed official was booked to conduct a preliminary inspection this morning.
“Despite our best efforts, the pitch has frozen and, with temperatures remaining very cold between now and kick-off, the match has been postponed.
“All tickets will remain valid for the rearranged date. No refunds can be processed until this date is confirmed.”
Gillingham were looking to end a run of nine league matches without a win, including the New Year’s Day loss at Swindon.
The Gills have picked up just seven points during that time – including five successive home draws – and have slumped to 16th in the league table, 15 points above the relegation zone.
Gareth Ainsworth’s side are next due in action on Saturday, January 17 when they host Newport County at Priestfield.
