Tokyo’s Asian Street Food made the announcement last night on social media
Today will be the last day of trading for Tokyo’s Asian Street Food on the Doagh Road, in Newtonabbey.
The announcement was made last night, (Thursday) on social media where rising costs and the current economic situation were blamed for the closure.

“Rising costs and the current economic climate have made it impossible for us to continue, despite our best efforts. This has not been an easy decision, and one we have thought long and hard about.
Before we close our doors for the final time, we would love to welcome you in one last time to enjoy your favourite dishes, share some memories, and say goodbye in person.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every customer who has supported us over the years — whether you visited once or became a regular face. Your support, kind words, and loyalty have meant more to us than we can ever express.” The message was signed off by the poster thanking patrons for being a part of the business’s journey. The employees also wished the public a merry Christmas and happy new year.
