She remains in hospital in a critical condition
A pedestrian was taken to a London hospital in a critical condition following a serious crash near Wingham.
The woman in her 80s was involved in a collision with a white Mercedes Vito as she was walking at around 4.20pm on Tuesday (December 16).
The incident happened on Pedding Hill Road in Shatterling. She was taken by ambulance crews to a London hospital.
Kent Police said the woman remains in a critical condition.
A spokesperson said: “Enquiries are being led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact them.
“Drivers are also urged to check dashcams for any important footage.”
