Folkestone Invicta took another big step towards promotion after winning their Isthmian Premier derby at Dartford.

It’s now nine wins in a row for Jay Saunders’ side, who kept up their record of scoring in every game this season when Joe Pigott put them ahead from a tight angle just past the half-hour.

Ade Yusuff added the second with 10 minutes left before substitute Samir Carruthers pulled one back for the Darts late on with a spectacular free-kick.

Cray Valley had too much for Wingate & Finchley, running out 4-1 winners.

Rowan Liburd’s first-half finish set them on their way and Fumnaya Shomotun doubled their advantage early in the second half.

Late goals from Cem Tumkaya and Liam Moore added gloss to the final scoreline with Wingate replying through substitute Ayyuba Jambang in stoppage time.

New Ramsgate boss Lee Martin suffered defeat for the first time at the helm as they were beaten 4-3 at Burgess Hill, who moved into fifth spot.

Burgess Hill raced into a three-goal lead inside 17 minutes through Ben Pope, Reggie Ward and Max Fiddes.

But Ramsgate hit back through Billy Munday and then a Raphe Brown header two minutes into the second half.

It was 3-3 on 61 minutes when Alfie Paxman equalised from the penalty spot but Chris Whelpdale bagged what proved to be the winner five minutes later.

Welling United’s home game with bottom side Potters Bar was postponed prior to kick-off at Park View Road.

“Today’s fixture against Potters Bar Town has been postponed,” said a Welling United statement.

“The club will be making no further comment at this time.

“Further news regarding the rearranged fixture will be communicated in due course.”

New Ashford boss Craig Stone made it eight goals and two wins from his first two games in charge.

The Nuts and Bolts won 5-2 at Broadbridge Heath to move up to 13th in the table.

Gary Lockyer scored a brace with Mike West, Jack Dixon and Louis Collins also on target.

Sittingbourne made it six wins a draw since Reece Prestedge took charge with a 5-0 thumping of Eastbourne Town at Woodstock.

Goals came from a Joe Boachie hat-trick, Darren Foxley and Harvey Smith.

Tommie Fagg scored what proved a consolation as Faversham Town dropped to fourth after losing 3-1 at home to AFC Croydon Athletic, for whom David Bremang bagged twice.

Margate lost 3-0 at home to Hastings, who netted through James Stone, Jordan Mase and Finley Chapman.

Bode Anidugbe’s penalty with 15 minutes left was enough to earn Herne Bay a 1-1 draw at East Grinstead. The hosts had taken the lead straight after half-time through Dan Perry.

Sheppey United put VCD to the sword with a 4-2 win at Holm Park.

Hassan Ibrahiym and Jacob Lambert scored in the first half before Dan Bradshaw made it 3-0 on 65 minutes.

Chris Regis scored two goals in the last seven minutes, including a penalty, to drag VCD back into the contest but Michael Ademiluyi added Sheppey’s fourth in stoppage time.

An early Eniola Hassan goal was enough for second-place AFC Whyteleafe to win 1-0 at Deal while Erith Town lost 3-1 at Jersey Bulls despite taking the lead through Aaron Jeffery.

Goals from Shaquille Gordon and Jack Holland saw Beckenham beat Crowborough 2-1 while Sevenoaks lost 5-0 at home to leaders Three Bridges.
