He is set to appear in court
A 37-year-old man has been charged after officers responded to a report of inappropriate behaviour towards a teenage girl in Canterbury. On the evening of Wednesday, December 3, Kent Police received a report that an alleged sexual offence had taken place earlier in the day in the St George’s Street area.
An investigation was launched, resulting in an arrest by neighbourhood officers the following day, the force said. Dunstan Edwards, of Spring Lane, Canterbury, was charged with a count of sexual touching.
He appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (December 6) and was remanded in custody. The case will next be heard in the same court today (December 11).
