The trustees of the Highland Distillers Pension Scheme, based in Glasgow, have given notice that the scheme is to be wound up in accordance with its governing provisions.
Information in relation to the winding-up has already been sent by the trustees to known members and beneficiaries.
Those who have not recently been contacted by the trustees should contact Hymans Robertson (the scheme’s administrator) in writing if they were, or are, a member of the scheme, or believe they have any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the scheme – whether as a spouse, civil partner, child or dependant of a deceased member, or a creditor – or if they believe their benefits were transferred to the scheme from another retirement benefit scheme.
Anyone who fits these descriptions should get in touch with Hymans Robertson by February 28.
You can contact them via email at edringtonpensions@hymans.co.uk, by phone on 0141 566 7527, or by post to: Highland Distillers Pension Scheme, Hymans Robertson LLP, 20 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G2 6DB.
More details can be found on the public notice portal at https://tinyurl.com/yzfvta5f.
Those getting in touch are asked to provide full details of their claim and any benefits they believe they are entitled to.
You do not need to contact the trustees if you have already received correspondence regarding the wind-up of the scheme, or if you have transferred your benefits to another pension scheme or arrangement.
After this date, the trustees will distribute any remaining assets and wind up the scheme.
