Wtinesses are urged to come forward
A driver suffers facial injuries after being assaulted in his truck in Ashford.
It was reported to Kent Police that a man in a flatbed truck was targeted in the Church Road area of Willesborough, at around 2pm on November 15.
A man, believed to be known to the driver, reportedly got into the back of the vehicle near to the Hythe Road junction. The driver was allegedly assaulted.
He sustained facial injuries. Following the attack, he made off in the truck towards junction 10 of the M20.
The second man is reported to have got out and left the scene. A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and initial enquiries were completed.
“An investigation is ongoing and anyone with relevant information, including dashcam footage or CCTV, is urged to come forward.”
