South east London’s cheapest fuel stations this Christmas

Diesel climbed by 4.7p per litre in November, while unleaded rose by nearly 3p.

Global pressures played their part too: drone attacks on Russia’s refining infrastructure pushed refining margins higher, and further disruption near the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk affected crude supplies, according to PetrolPrices.com.

But there’s a small bit of festive cheer: price pressure has started to ease.

On November 30, more stations cut their prices for both fuels than increased them, the first time this has happened in over three weeks.

Asda is leading on price for both unleaded and diesel, while Tesco continues to show the biggest variation between sites.
