A “much-loved” mother and great grandmother is among those being remembered in the latest death and funeral notices for Kent. Victoria ‘Vicky’ Nicholas (Coote) passed away in early November. May she rest in peace.

Passed away at home on October 30, aged 83. She was much-loved and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
Service held at Herne Bay Crematorium on Friday, November 28. Donations in her memory are going to Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance and can be made via awelchandson.co.uk.
Kenneth Anthony FERRIS
Kenneth died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
The funeral will take place at Thanet Crematorium on Monday, December 8 at 11am. Family flowers only please.

Victoria (Vicky) NICHOLAS (Coote)
September 15, 1926 – November 6, 2025. Victoria ‘Vicky’ Olga Nicholas (Coote), of Ramsgate, passed away peacefully at her home on November 6.
She was the widow of Hilary Nicholas and a much-loved mother to Adele, Robert, Godfrey, Christopher, Kevin and Cecilia. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A funeral service for Victoria took place at St Augustine’s Abbey, Ramsgate, on Tuesday, December 2 followed by burial. Donations in support of MENCAP can be sent to H.R. Nicky (Nick) SCOTT
Nicky ‘Nick’ Scott passed away on October 18, aged 52. He was much-loved and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

John William Ronald (John Boy) WASSALL
Not Goodbye, Only Goodnight. The day that you came into the world was so full of love and joy. I held you in my arms for hours, my beautiful baby boy.
My sorrow is beyond compare, it aches deep in my chest. Sleep safely now, my special son, in eternal rest.
I will love you forever and a day, in my memories you’ll live on, and so long as I breathe, you will never be truly gone. I wish that I could hold your hand, and make everything alright.
To tell you that it’s not the end, not goodbye, only goodnight. Service will be held at Medway Crematorium, Bluebell Hill, Chatham, ME5 9QU.

He taught us to be generous, to find the fun in a challenge, and to love our family with an open heart. Dad knew how to be silly and how to make people laugh, but he also knew how to be a rock for those he loved.
Today and every day, we take inspiration from him. We are choosing to be brave, we are remembering the adventures, and we are celebrating the life of a man who truly lived.
We aren’t dwelling on the sadness today, but holding tight to the fun and the memories. Beloved husband of June, loved father of Mike and Donna, adored grandad and friend. Always in our hearts, ‘Corkers.’

8/5/1947 – 1/12/2018. The years go by yet not a day goes by when you are not loved and remembered, I love you more today than yesterday and I’ll love you more tomorrow than I do today, and I’ll go on loving you until we are together again.
